Q: When would be the best time to take this
product? I work graveyard shift and I workout in the morning after work. How
many do I take? Is there water retention with use? Is this the only creatine
product I need to take?
A: We would recommend that you take the full serving with the last meal during
your workday. We also recommend that most people do not exceed 4capsules or 3
grams a day. Try that and then also try cutting back to 2 capsules or 1.5 grams
per day. Due to Kre-Alkalyn's® stability and concentration, you simply do not
need very much to see an effect. Also, you should not have any water retention
with Kre-Alkalyn & KR-Evolution . Creatinine is what causes that, and since it
won't convert before reaching muscle, you won't experience any. You will not
need any other creatine products, including transporter products, when using
Kre-Alkalyn & KR-Evolution . Your body can store and utilize only so much
creatine, so save your money.
Q: You say that the majority of creatine in each serving I take converts to
useless creatinine. If this really is true, why am I still getting results?
A: Your body naturally produces about 2 grams of creatine a day. When you
supplement with 5 grams (5,000mg) of creatine, you'll likely only get the
benefit of 200-400mg of actual creatine (and 4,600mg of creatinine). Most of the
creatine is lost when added to liquid, and even more is broken down as it passes
through your acidic stomach. However, the additional 200-400mg still provides
you with a 10-20% increase in your overall pool of available creatine. That’s
why you will still experience some results with your current brand of creatine.
Keep in mind that this is strictly an example. It may be that only 25-50%
converts, so you might actually get even higher amounts of creatine to your
muscle cells. It all depends on many factors (pH level of the liquid you use to
mix with, the acidity of your stomach - it can range anywhere from pH 1-4)...so
there are no hard and fast rules here, but the fact is that it does happen.
Q: Every new creatine product claims they're the “next best thing”. So what
makes Kre-Alkalyn & KR-Evolution any different?
A: Over the past decade alone, there have been many improvements in the science
of creatine delivery, including insulin stimulators, liquid serums, along with
various new forms of creatine which includes effervescent, titrate, di-creatine
and, most recently, esterfied creatine. However, these technologies cannot
deliver an effective, concentrated dose of creatine without converting to
creatinine since they are not above pH 7 and 100% stable...like Kre-Alkalyn &
KR-Evolution . Even more important is the fact that KA isn't necessarily a
product. Rather it's a technology... and an ingredient other companies can use
in their creatine-based products. In other words, other companies shouldn't view
Kre-Alkalyn & KR-Evolution as competition. It is the solution to a larger
problem - conversion to creatinine. Which means their customers will get even
more value and benefits from their products.
Q: How long will it take for me to see any kind of results? Is the liquid form
more absorbable than the capsules? Have you come out with the liquid form yet?
Is this creatine hard on your liver and kidneys?
A: Yes, we do have a liquid form of Kre-Alkalyn & KR-Evolution
LIQUID
FURY that is also 100% stable. As for which one works best, they are all
pretty much equal. There are no distinct advantages for using one over
another..only when it comes to convenience. For example, most prefer the capsule
form since
they are the easiest to carry around and use.
Kre-Alkalyn & KR-Evolution is not hard on the kidneys or liver. It won't
convert to creatinine, which is what causes all those problems to begin with.
But like anything else, if you take too much Kre-Alkalyn & KR-Evolution
(beyond our recommended dosages of 1.5-3 grams a day), then it means your body
must work harder to process the overage.
Many people say they see results after the very first day, but the majority see
them within 3-5 days for certain.
Q: Will this product raise my serum creatinine values? Will there be an increase
in urinary creatinine clearance values? Is Kre-Alkalyn hard on the kidneys? I
ask because I am in the process of having some medical tests done for life
insurance and I would not want any abnormal values to show up on my blood work
or urinalysis. Thank you for taking the time to answer my questions.
A: Creatinine is also Spent Fuel. If you only use 1.5 grams per day of
Kre-Alkalyn & KR-Evolution you will be OK. Last year I also had my
insurance physical and my Creatinine levels were OK with the 1.5 grams.
But, if you are concerned:
1). Do not eat any Red Meat for 1-2 weeks before the physical. Just eat moderate
amounts of chicken and fish as your protein source.
2). Do not take any supplements, including protein, vitamins, or Kre-Alkalyn &
KR-Evolution , etc 1-2 weeks before physical.
**Protein powders and red meat will elevate Creatinine levels also. They contain
creatine and depending on how you cook your meat, you will also be ingesting a
good level of Creatinine from that form. All things considered, since “Good
Blood” will reflect the premium you pay, I recommend you follow Points 1 & 2
above.
Q: I read somewhere that Kre-Alkalyn & KR-Evolution is supposed to be “10x
More Effective” than regular creatine. Is this true?
A: It's all in how you look at it. If unbuffered creatine degrades by 90% in
liquid or stomach acids, then Kre-Alkalyn & KR-Evolution would be “10x
more effective” since it remains 100% stable (100% vs. 10%). Unfortunately, many
supplement companies falsely advertise that their creatine products force muscle
cells to absorb creatine at levels far beyond their natural capacity. However,
basic science tells us this is simply impossible. For example, you cannot force
14 ounces of water into an 8-ounce glass—100% capacity is 100% capacity.
Furthermore, if someone could figure out a way to stabilize creatine other than
manipulating its pH levels, the real question becomes this: Would it really work
any better than Kre-Alkalyn & KR-Evolution ? The key word to focus on here is
“better”. Like I said above, once you’ve saturated your cells with creatine,
they simply won’t take in anymore, regardless of the form or type.
Q: Why is Kre-Alkalyn & KR-Evolution made with Creatine Monohydrate?
Aren’t there better, more effective forms of creatine you could’ve used?
A: You may have noticed that since the introduction of creatine to the
marketplace in the early 90’s, there have been numerous versions, or forms, of
creatine that have since become available. Even though a few have shown some
promise, they simply do not have the research and track record of creatine
monohydrate. It is the single most studied form of creatine in history (by a
huge margin) let alone the most studied supplement ever. In fact, you'd be
extremely hard-pressed to find even one study that would show any other from to
be more effective.
To answer your question, we could have used other "forms" of creatine. However,
countless researchers agree that creatine monohydrate is superior to all others
with regard to its overall bioavailability. So when it came down to it, we
decided to stick with a proven winner...and then fix its flaws.
Some people mistakenly believe Kre-Alkalyn & KR-Evolution is a new form or
type of creatine. But, the reality is that it is the best form of creatine
(monohydrate) that has been fully stabilized. This is why we say it is a new
technology and not a new form of creatine. Rather, it is 100% stable creatine...and
it is also the best form: good old creatine monohydrate.
Q: Since Kre-Alkalyn & KR-Evolution uses the monohydrate form of creatine,
if I “stacked” it with another type of creatine, would I get even better
results?
A: “Stacking” Kre-Alkalyn & KR-Evolution with another "form" of creatine
is simply unnecessary. Remember, you cannot force 14 ounces of water into an
8-ounce glass—100% capacity is 100% capacity. In other words, there is a point
where your body won’t absorb anymore creatine no matter how much or which form
you take, and that also includes Kre-Alkalyn & KR-Evolution .
A question we often get is how Kre-Alkalyn & KR-Evolution compares to
other creatine-based products on the market. The problem, though, is that many
of these products being compared to Kre-Alkalyn & KR-Evolution contain
creatine, plus many other ingredients designed to increase the pump, insulin
release, nutrient transport, etc. Therefore, you can't really get a direct
comparison between them. It is interesting to note that some of the additional
ingredients in these products might be the actual cause as to why some feel the
particular product in question is working for them, regardless of its creatine
content. It would also be an interesting experiment to take some of these
formulation and simply swap out their creatine content with Kre-Alkalyn &
KR-Evolution to see how it impacts the overall results.
Even so, I have reviewed the formulations of many of these products, and I must
say there are some rather top-notch formulations out there! My hat is off to
them. It is quite satisfying and amazing to see how far the actual science
behind supplements has come in just the past few years alone.
Q: I have never experienced any of the problems you claim that unstable creatine
causes. So why should I care or even bother switching to Kre-Alkalyn &
KR-Evolution ?
A: I can think of at least three important reasons why you should give this some
serious thought:
1) The single biggest reason to use creatine is to achieve the results you
desire. But if the majority of each dose you take is converting to creatinine,
can you really be 100% sure you’re getting the most from your current brand? Or
are you actually just getting by and short-changing yourself?
2) When your creatine converts to creatinine, it means you are ultimately
wasting good money. Like most people, I’m sure you work way too hard to make it
in the first place.
3) Even if your brand only converts to creatinine by a mere 1%, do you really
want even that much extra toxin in your body? While I certainly don’t want to
resort to using scare tactics to make my point, consider the fact that even
though many studies show using traditional creatine supplements to be “safe”
short-term (<10 years), we simply do not know what the effects of excess
creatinine are long-term. In fact, new evidence is quickly emerging that may
link long-term creatinine exposure with kidney failure and other ailments. But
only time will tell which studies are correct. The bottom-line is, why take
chances and waste good money when you don’t have to?
Q: I am confused on what creatine actually does and how it makes your muscles
bigger. From what I am told, it helps your muscles hold more water. This is
where I'm confused...if creatine has your muscles hold more water, then why do
you advertise the fact that Kre Alkalyn has lower water retention. Dont you want
the cells to hold more water? If your muscles are not holding water to get
bigger, than what are they filling with?
A: The water retention we refer to is water that is held under the skin, outside
of muscle cells. This why you might hear some people saying they don't like
creatine because it makes them "smooth" or bloated. They key thing to understand
is that creatinine is what causes this problem. It is your body's natural
reaction to a toxin. It is also very similar to when you eat a meal that is very
high in sodium. It makes your body hold large amounts of excess fluids,
especially under the skin. Since Kre-Alkalyn & KR-Evolution is 100%
stable, this won't happen as a side effect.
We even have competitive bodybuilders who use now our technology because it
helps them while they are preparing for a show. They can get all the benefits of
creatine (fuller muscles, strength increases...especially while dieting, etc.)
without having to worry about smoothing out. The very thing they don't want when
trying to get extremely lean for a contest.
Q: I have a question regarding your product. I read your material on your
website and I purchased a bottle of your Kre-Alkalyn. I must say that I was
skeptical at first, because I've been so used to taking creatine with 5-10 gram
portions, and I saw that the serving size was only 2 capsules for 1500mg. But I
must say that I have definitely seen some improvements in my workout already. I
know it can't be placebo, because I was skeptical... so it's gotta be the
product...
Now I have a question regarding taking your Kre-Alkalyn product with AKG. For
example, what if I were to take a NO (Nitric Oxide) product along with yours? Do you see any
conflicts between the two products? The reason I ask is I know that your product
is pH sensitive, and I believe some of these NO products are too.
Any help on this would be greatly beneficial... because I wouldn't want to take
a product that would negate the effects of another. Thanks in advance!
Congratulations on the wonderful product, you've definitely convinced this
person. I am telling people about your product...
A: If you do choose to use an NO boosting product with Kre-Alkalyn &
KR-Evolution , make sure to take your Kre-Alkalyn & KR-Evolution dosage
about an hour or so before or after the NO dosage. The reason for this is that
Arginine Alpha-Ketoglutarate is actually quite acidic. Therefore, if Kre-Alkalyn
& KR-Evolution is buffering your stomach acids, we don't want the two
compounds to compete with each other. And since they do use pH delivery systems,
it could cause a slight conflict. Overall, I wouldn't be too concerned about it
though. The simple thing is to try a little experiment and see if you notice any
dramatic differences when using them closer or further apart.
